The Ichibankarate Traditional Kobudo program is
offered on Saturday mornings at 09:00 am beginning November 5, 2011.
This class is separate from our Saito-ha Shito-Ryu
Karate discipline. It teaches the traditional weapons training disipline involving the Bo, Sai, Nunchaku, Kama, Tonfa and
Eku. Students also learn about the various other traitional weapons, e.g. Nunti Bo, Hoe, Surichin, Tekko. Students progress
through the ranks of White, Green, Brown and Black Belt.
Please note, due to the nature of this discipline, students
must either hold at least a ShoDan level in an empty hand art or be 16 years of age. Students do not have to participate in
our Karate-Do program to be members of Ichibankarate Kobudo.
